Professor Robson Pereira

IBJJF Certified 5th Degree Black Belt

Professor Robson Pereira, a native of Brazil, began his martial arts training over 28 years ago in his birth place of Sao Paulo. While earning his way up and now ranks 5th degree Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. He has had the opportunity to train with notable athletes from the Gracie family, Marcos Santos, Rigan Machado, Grand Master Mansor and BJ Penn. He is currently training under Master Jucao

Robson Pereira Certified Brown Belt

Meet Coach Matt, a dedicated brown belt under the esteemed Professor Robson Pereira. His commitment to excellence is evident in his achievements, including winning gold in the 2018 NAGA No-Gi and securing silver in the Gi division. In the same year, he clinched silver at the Grappling Industries Gi competition. Coach Matt's success continued in 2019 with no-gi gold at the Team Jucao Tournament and the Fuji BJJ competition. Cementing his prowess, he became the 2021 NAGA Purple Belt Expert Champion.

dynamic instructor hailing from Bernville, PA, a passionate 26-year-old martial artist with a focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Muay Thai. With two years of dedicated training under the guidance of Professor Robson Pereira, esteemed rank of Blue Belt in BJJ.

Coach John Hopkins

Coach John is a Blue Belt under Professor Robson Pereira. He joined the MMA Academy in October of 2021. His tournament record is short but includes a 2022 FUJI no gi gold medalist and a 2022 NAGA gi bronze medalist. He has benefited greatly from the training and instruction at the Academy and hopes to be a useful help to others as they walk their jujitsu journey.
